By now you've heard about (or read my blog about) the incident with NFL running Ryan Moats and his run-in with the "law" while rushing to the side of his ailing mother-in-law.. Here's their interview on Good Morning America.. They take the high road and are very classy in this interview and demonstrate how people should react to situation..

Another case of a B!tch Behind a Badge

Now if you haven't already heard.. There was a cop in Houston that pulled over current Houston Texans (former Philadelphia Eagle) runningback Ryan Moats in the hospital parking lot in which his mother - in- law lay in bed dieing.. When the cop pulls him over and asks him why he ran a red light with his emergency lights on Moats explains his situation with his mother -in- law.. The the cop proceeds to unneccesairly question him and pulls out his firearm when Moats' wife exits the vehicle.. Now it wasn't like Moats was being uncooroperative or anything. He maintained a level of respect for the officer, the officer felt as though since he was the one wearing the badge he had the right to abuse his authority.. Now I know that had Moats been uncoorperative and getting disrespectful then the further questioning may have been justified.. But as an officer of the law, your duty is to "serve and protect" and by serving you must be understanding enough to see when a certain situation calls for you to be compassionate and caring.. Well after having Moats stuck there in the parking lot and not able to be by the side of his ailing mother in law the police department of the officer has him on a leave of absence... In my eyes this is just pitiful. It's just another shining example of another guy who was picked on and made fun of as a kid, then becomes a cop and feels like the gun, badge and nightstick is an extension of his d!ck.. The cop should be fired and blacklisted from all police forces across the US..

Wayne's World

What's going on world? I'm just here groovin right before I go to bed and I felt that I had to share with everybody the most slept on R&B album of probably the last 5 years.. It's a very soulful album with a very vintage sound and when you listen to it you can definately hear the homage paid to the likes of Sam Cooke (A Change Is Gonna Come)and other great singers of the past.. This album is called "A Long Time Coming" by none other than Wayne Brady..(yes I said Wayne Brady). The title is perfect because a sound like this is long overdue and has been a long time coming. His first two singles off the album "Ordinary" and "You and Me" are very well composed and the sound is vintage but authentically his own.. This is album is strictly for those who like the sound of old school R&B or youngin's trying to get on their grown and sexy.. Trust me, pick it up and you won't be disappointed..

oh and check out his video for You and Me.. It's very genuine and has a nice lil message..

Hey what's up world... I'm writing today to discuss something serious that's going on in the media.. As you can already tell.. I'm talking about that whole C. Breezy and Rihanna issue. Now understand, I'm NOT condoning, or supporting his actions in any way shape or form, but this is just my honest opinion..

Now personally I'm a bit tired about hearing about this fiasco, mostly because of the media.. All they've done is put up the pic of Rihanna's face (TMZ) and go around asking celebs how they feel about the situation.. Personally I could care less how these celebs feel!! The real question should be "What advice can you offer the young brother to assure he doesn't find himself in this type of situation anymore?" or "What do you think he can do to overcome this obstacle in his life? And how can we make sure he doesn't act like this again?"

Now with that said before this Chris Brown could do no wrong in the eyes of too many people. It's not his fault. It's that partial invincibility that we allocate to celebrities. So people please don't be surprised that although he's facing 4+ years in his arraignment, that he gets probation, and has to pay some ridiculous amount of court fees.

I've read on different sites that people feel that he deserves jail time but I think that's a bit harsh for a 1st time offender at 19 years old. But I do feel as though, the court should hit him where it really hurts, his WALLET!! They should just make him make a large amount of donations to various organizations, school districts (Philadelphia), and things like that and not allow him to write it off on his taxes. Cuz Lord knows how much money he's lost in endorsements and sponsors (a la T.I.). And, I do understand that abuse is abuse no matter the age, but I do believe that people can change and that he's really learned the error of his ways..

Jazmine Sullivan

Hey! I'm back again after a nap and running some errands.. But anyways back to my point..I'm a fan of Jazmine Sullivan and I listen to her album faithfully. She has a song on her albumn called "In Love With Another Man" and there is a video/short film for it that I just saw that I must ssay that I truly enjoyed. It's one of those videos that assisted in telling the story that the song is telling. I must commend the director Matthew Cherry on a wonderful job..

Hey what's good world? I just got in from a fun night of partying with some homies (shouts to Tone, Teddy P, & Reece Raw!!). Did a lot of dancing, sweating, drinkin, drinkin, drinkin, and more drinkin, oh and took some pics too.. But anyways I just happened to be roaming the internet and visited one of the frequent websites I go to and saw The Dream's new video to the Rockin That Thing remix featuring Ludacris, Fabolous, Juelz Santanna, & Rick Ross.. I must say that eventhough I'm not the biggest Dream fan, I'm feeling the song and the video..

What does "Daylight Savings Time" really save?

Maaaaann!! It's about to be 4 in the morning and what am I doing? sleeping? nah, clubbing? nope, partying? yea right! Blogging.. I'm brand new to this whole blogging thing. So I'm watching the news and they showed this little reminder on setting the clocks forward for DST (Daylight Savings Time). While I reach over to change my cheap alram clock radio I start to think.. What is really being saved in this whole secenario? I lose and hour of sleep and gain a whole lotta frustration. So where is the upside to this whole ent? I dunno.. But at least it's a sign that we're in the home stretch and this crappy weather is about to be over.. Well it's been fun.. till next time..
