I had come across a very interesting article on another site that is exploring the idea that an individual with dreadlocks can't and will not prosper in the corporate workplace. Here's a small excerpt from the article. "The consensus in this was that dreadlocks was not the corporate look you want to have when going for that job interview. Made me think when was the last time I saw a black male with dreadlocks wearing a suit or anything but Khakis and a vest." Click here for the rest of the article..

This week, a group of prominent academics and activists published an open letter calling on France to repay an "independence debt" it imposed nearly 200 years ago after Haiti successfully won independence from France.
