The Passing of A Legend..

It is with a heavy heart that I report to you the passing of a baseball legend. George Steinbrenner the owner of the New York Yankees has passed away this morning from a massive heart attack at 6:30 AM at the age of 80 years old. He recently just won a World Series last year against the Philadelphia Phillies. He may have been viewed by many as an individual with huge pockets who tried to buy his titles. He merely was a man dedicated to winning. He will be missed by many. My condolences go out to his family and those close to him.

Now that Free Agency is over and "The Decision" has been made. People seem to be VERY divided over the signing of LeBron James to the Miami Heat. Me personally I LOVE it because it's strictly a power move to win! And at the end of the day, all those individual accomplishment are nice but no one forgets a winner.. So shout out to the people who love the move and those who hate it, but we all can agree that this upcoming NBA season will be one to remember..

Harrowing Duck Boat Crash

It's with a great deal of sadness to report that on Wednesday July 7th one of Philadelphia's Duck Boat tours transportation vehicles was struck by a barge on the Delaware River. Here is a clip of a part of the accident and the 911 call that ensued.

Now we all know since the Lakers won the championship this year that the NBA Free Agency period was all about LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. On July 7th 2010 Chris Bosh signed to the Miami Heat and Dwayne Wade resigned. Now on Thursday July 8th 2010 ESPN will be broadcasting and hour long special entitled "The Decision" to determine where LeBron will be playing next..
